It takes way too long to find the best of the best when it comes to mortgage and real estate blogs on the Internet these days. Sure, you may stumble across a handful of major blogs, but what about the hidden gems, the rising stars? They’re a little more difficult to come across, especially when a Google search for mortgage blog comes up with over 32 million results!

So, why not just come up with a list of the 50 Top Mortgage and Real Estate blogs so we all have one resource to go to for a fresh perspective?

Over the next month I’ll be compiling the list. I hope to get some community involvement on this project in the form of suggested blogs to rank and how to refine the criteria (as if it wasn’t perfect already ). I plan to use the following to rank the blogs:

1. Google Pagerank
2. Technorati Ranking
3. Alexa Traffic Rating
