How to Browse the Internet Faster

written by John Crenshaw

Irvine Mortgage - Just thought you all could use a tip today. The majority of internet surfers use Internet Explorer simply because they don’t see any other reason to use something else. To those who’ve never heard of Firefox, I’ll key you in on a little tip, it’s 10x better than Internet Explorer, and Truthful Lending dot Com is optimized for Firefox as well.

Internet Explorer is Full of Security Holes

Internet Explorer has come to be known as a little shaky when it comes to available ways people can exploit it, so for security’s sake, it’s not the best browser to be using.

Internet Explorer Makes My Job 1,000 Times More Difficult

Internet Explorer has a bit of a reputation among web designers as an awfully buggy web browser. To give you an idea of how evil it really is, when I was designing Truthful Lending dot Com (both times), I spent about 1/3 of the entire time it took to design tweaking the code so that it worked in Internet Explorer. Why? Because Firefox reads code like a browser should, Internet Explorer requires you to write a bunch of “band-aid” code so that everything displays properly. It’s not fun.

Firefox Is Faster

Ok, I’ve never sat with a stopwatch to time it, but it is noticeably faster, so says all of my friends to whom I demand use Firefox before I’ll even touch their computers ;-) .

Have I convinced you enough?
